Hi, I’m Dr. Jackie Henry—a psychologist, mom, writer, and optimizer by nature. If you’ve ever spiraled into an existential crisis over which laundry detergent best aligns with your values, congratulations, you’ve found your people.
I started Less Thinking, More Living because I’ve spent years (decades, really) witnessing what happens when we get stuck in our own heads—both in my work with clients and in my own life. We analyze, we ruminate, we try to optimize every last inch of our existence… and somewhere in all that thinking, we forget to actually live.
As a psychologist, I believe in deep work, self-reflection, and healing. But I also believe we’ve made personal growth way more complicated than it needs to be. Sometimes, we don’t need another self-help book or a new journal prompt—we just need to do the thing. Take the risk. Try the messy, imperfect action. Because real life doesn’t happen in your head; it happens in motion.
